Studio Skai is the creation of Sheffield-based artist, Joe Winstanley, who uses miniature model making and folk storytelling to connect to his native Peak District.

This connection to land and folk has played a significant role in Joe’s recovery from anxiety and depression with his practice ranging from meditative paper folding and miniature model making to creative storytelling.

Studio Skai offers a range of mindful art prints and publications which celebrate and preserve the voices and creatures who roam, haunt and wander through this wonderful part of the world.

By reconnecting to the land we live in, we can learn to protect it. By preserving the stories of the common-folk, we can learn how to navigate our current climate.
